Low energy conference for construction industry

A free conference for those in the construction industry will focus on low energy buildings.
MEP for the East of England Richard Howitt, pictured, will attend the conference, to be held at West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds on April 14.
How to Design & Construct Low Energy Buildings is fully funded by Build with CaRe, a European project to promote energy efficient building.
The conference is aimed at architects, designers, clients, housing associations, developers, contractors and professionals within the construction industry.
Architects, academics and professional organisations will make presentations.
Manufacturers supplying solutions for low energy buildings that are viable and, most importantly, economical will run practical workshops. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend any three of 14 workshops on design, build techniques, refurbishment, energy and materials.
