Latest town council vacancy will be filled by election
Monday, 9th September 2013.
Notice of an election for the vacant seat on Haverhill Town Council for the north ward was posted last week.
An election is necessary because at least ten electors have called for one.
It will take place on Thursday, OPctober 10.
The vacancy arose because of the resignation of Cllr Bryan Hawes, who was elected as a Conservative but left the party to become first an Independent and then a member of UKIP.
