Interactive learning - laser show
Monday, 1st October 2001.
A QUIET week followed by the excitement of the launch as a specialist school. After a laser show, students got back to work, and the school began to come to terms with the new facilities and equipment.
The new year nine have settled in well and are beginning to produce some good work. Sixth form interactive learning courses in politics and computing are also proving to be successful.
On the sporting front - congratulations to year nine students who were selected to attend the West Suffolk U14 trials this week.
Danny Hill, Ross Elkins, Lee Hurkett and Daniel Edwards are no waiting to hear whether they will join the squad for this season.
Next week sees year 11 footballers play Stowupland in the West Suffolk Cup and the U19 girls take on the same opposition in the County Girl's competition.
