HR and Payroll Software Company, Cyberaid, Receives Inland Revenue Accreditation
Wednesday, 17th May 2006.
Cyberaid, the leading payroll and human resources software development company based in Haverhill, Suffolk, has once again secured the payroll industry’s coveted accreditation for its products.
The HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) Payroll Standard Accreditation is awarded to payroll software products that satisfy the minimum requirements of the Inland Revenue Payroll Standard. The Standard was designed to help employers choose the most suitable payroll software product to meet their needs. It confirms that a product, as well as fulfilling exacting criteria, can calculate PAYE tax and NI, handle statutory records, additions and deductions and is able to send forms over the Internet or by some other electronic document exchange.
Only a limited number of payroll products have so far been awarded this prestigious distinction.
The assessment procedure is rigorous and involves an HMRC inspector visiting the company and subjecting software products to extensive testing; in order to pass this strict evaluation pay calculations must be wholly accurate.
The accreditation period runs for 12 months from the date awarded and payroll products and services must be re-tested at the end of this period to retain their accredited status.
Gillian Blackmore, Cyberaid’s Managing Director, commented:
“I am delighted that we have once again received accreditation for our software from HMRC. This distinction will continue to assure both new and
established customers that our products are fully compliant with industry legislation requirements and confirm they have the necessary functionality and stability to facilitate even the most complex payroll transactions.
"Achieving industry approval reflects the robust nature of our software and the company ethos of providing long-term commitment and first class systems to businesses of all sizes. We are focused on delivering benefits through technology and look forward to sustaining our excellent working relationship with HM Revenue and Customs in the years ahead.”
Cyberaid has been developing HR and Payroll software for 25 years. Teamtrak Adaptive, the company’s flagship product, is highly regarded for its functionality, clean design, ease of use and flexibility. It is recognised as a market leader and its capabilities provide solutions for companies employing 50 staff to thousands. Cyberaid’s client base includes local company D Gurteen & Sons, as well as names like Glenmorangie, Renault Group, Adnams Ales, Playtex, Eddie Stobart, and the famous Priory Clinic.
