Hindley 'furious' over prison switch
Thursday, 3rd June 1999.
MOORS murderer Myra Hindley is being switched from Highpoint prison near Haverhill to London's Holloway jail, prison sources confirmed.
One of Britain's most infamous inmates, Hindley, 56, is said to be furious at the move, due to urgent building work, and is threatening to remain in her cell during her stay.
But the child killer has reported vowed not to step outside her Holloway cell in protest at the move from the more relaxed atmosphere of the Suffolk prison.
Hindley is said to be worried by the reception she might receive from fellow prisoners at the London jail where she began her life sentence in 1966.
