High street closure for Good Friday procession
Monday, 11th April 2011.
There will be a short road closure in Haverhill town centre between 10.20am and 10.40am on Friday, April 22, for the annual Good Friday Procession of Witnesses parade.
The following roads will be closed for a short while to allow the parade to pass:
Withersfield Road from opposite the entrance of West End Church to its junction with Queen Street/Wratting Road.
Queen Street from its junction with Withersfield Road/Wratting Road to its junction with Market Hill/Camps Road/Swan Lane.
Peas Market Square from its junction with Mill Road to its junction with High Street/Queen Street.
Members of the various churches in Haverhill will gather together to follow a large cross down High Street from the old Independent Church to the market square where there will be a service.
