Heartbreak As Gunners Are Stung In Semi
Thursday, 9th February 2006.
Two late Histon goals extinguished Grampians' hopes of a cup final appearance.
The home side dominated the first half with Adam Palmer, Alex Nagy, Tom Bailey and Luke Youngs all going close.
However, the catalogue of missed chances cost them dearly when Histon scored on the brink of half time.
It was the same story in the second half, and Grampian's manager Simon Youngs said: "I am very proud of all the boys. We deserved to be in the final, but that's football and good luck to Histon."
