Headway hub now open all day Wednesdays

Headway Suffolk’s satellite hub in Haverhill is now open for a full day every Wednesday at the Burton Centre in Camps Road.
The charity that supports people with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions opened the new service on Wednesday mornings from June 11, but now needs to expand its hours to 9.30am–3.30pm due to demand.
Clients who may have sustained cognitive, physical and sensory difficulties can partake in rehabilitation activities to help their recovery and give families much-needed respite.
The service was initiated as the arduous journey to the charity’s hubs in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich was too stressful and expensive.
Headway Suffolk’s chief executive officer Helen Fairweather said: “We are delighted that demand has dictated expansion to our Haverhill hub so soon.”
