Haverhill Student Visits Local MP at Westminster
Wednesday, 10th October 2007.
Local MP Richard Spring, recently entertained Liam Plumridge, a 16 year old pupil at Castle Manor Business and Enterprise College - who suffers from Dyspraxia - and James Tyler, Assistant Headteacher of Castle Manor Business and Enterprise College, at the Houses of Parliament.
The visit, which included tickets to watch Prime Minister’s Question time, follows a meeting last July when Richard presented Liam with a cheque for the Dyspraxia Foundation.
Richard Spring said:
“I was delighted to spend the day with Liam and James in the Houses of Parliament. I have real admiration for Liam who has done a great deal of work to highlight the problems which people with Dyspraxia have to contend with. I hope they both had an enjoyable day having the rare opportunity to witness Prime Minister’s Questions at first hand.”
