Haverhill’s Day Inn has won a top award just four months after its opening last April! Achieving the top grade, 5 Sunbursts, from Franchisor Days Inn in its annual quality standards audit, places the hotel among the very best of the nearly 50 Days Inns & Days Hotels in the UK & Eire.

Sandra Storey, director of business development at the Wyndham Hotel Group said: “It’s an outstanding achievement. It’s rare for a newly opened Days property to get the top award, but just what I expected from Manager Donna Revell”.


Bill Bailey marketing director at AHM Ltd, the Hotel Operator was also full of praise:
“We are very proud of Manager Donna Revell and her team, who have worked so hard to meet the challenges they faced after the hotel lost its roof in the tornado at the beginning of the year. They really deserve this award”

The 80 room superior budget Days Inn Haverhill has already created a big impact on the local hotel scene. Drawing business from Cambridge and Newmarket as well as locally, it has already had to post the “house full” sign on a number of occasions. In addition its two meeting rooms are proving very popular with local companies and it catered for its first wedding reception a few weeks ago.

The Days Inn is located in the Haverhill Business Park at the junction of the A1017 southern by-pass and Bumpstead Road.
