Haverhill motor-cyclist died in yesterday's bypass crash

A man who died following a road accident on the Haverhill bypass yesterday has been named by police as Lee Westrope.
Police were called just before 1.40pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision between a 4x4 towing a horsebox and a motorcycle on the A1017 between the Camps Road and Gsteway roundabouts. The road was closed for several hours.
Emergency services including Suffolk Accident Rescue Service attended the collision but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been named as Lee Westrope, a 42-year-old man from Beaumont Vale in Haverhill.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
