Haverhill golfing pair defeat conditions
Wednesday, 16th December 2009.
The conditions were difficult as the course was still recovering from the previous week’s heavy rainfall.
However this did not deter the pair from Haverhill, Lee Chandler and Joe Davis. They managed to clinch the win with 43pts on countback, having scored an impressive 24pts on the back nine.
In second place with 43pts were Paul Davey and Keith Rooney from Stowmarket with Paul Pressland and Trevor Holley also from Stowmarket, finishing in third place on 41pts.
The next fixture is due to be played on January 10 at Bungay.
