Haverhill firm wins contract with Triumph Motorcycles

Haverhill-based Professional Sound Consultancy has won a contract with Triumph Motorcycles to maintain and service the company’s PA systems at its factory in Hinckley in Leicestershire.
Producing around 50,000 bikes per year, Triumph is the largest British automotive manufacturer in the country.
Professional Sound Consultancy, based on Spring Rise industrial estate in Falconer Road, is expert in the design, installation and service of public address systems, background music, induction loops, and voice evacuation systems.
Although there are no regulations requiring PA systems be maintained, regular maintenance will reduce the chance of system failure and resulting down time. By carrying out regular maintenance the operational life expectancy of the system is increased, resulting in overall cost savings.
The PA system at Triumph’s UK factory is used for general paging announcements, shift change tones and background music.
As part of the contract Professional Sound Consultancy will test the equipment racks including all the equipment housed within them such as amplifiers, control equipment and timers.
The loudspeaker circuits will be tested to ensure there are no faults on them and the company will check the functionality of the loudspeakers themselves by listening to them to ensure they are functioning correctly.
