Haverhill firm re-brands care giant
Monday, 26th July 2010.
A Haverhill design company has created a new look for one of the largest domiciliary care and support providers across Essex and Suffolk
Forest Homecare celebrates 16 years of supplying home care services this summer and, to coincide with this important milestone, the company has revamped its image with a striking new corporate identity, which it chose Haverhill company Pure Energy Multimedia to create.
Frank Ladkin, managing director at Forest Homecare says: “We decided to refresh our brand identity to highlight Forest’s continued growth in delivering care solutions across a wide range of needs.
"This expansion of our support services from basic home care through to community support and reablement corresponds with the changes now occurring in the community care sector.
“Our new image underpins our position as a leader in providing high quality, best value services that continue to raise the bar. Thousands of users have chosen Forest to make home care work for them and we are determined to build on that relationship of trust.”
Faithful to the company philosophy of staff involvement on all levels, employees were regularly consulted for their views on design, brand identity, vision and values. Some were even persuaded to act as models!
Tina Goodacre, head of business development, explains: “In reality it takes a whole company to build a brand. At Forest this is truer than ever before.
"We know that we wouldn’t be where we are today without a dedicated workforce. And what better communicates the idea of personal service and links a company to its customers more strongly than photography featuring the company staff?”
Forest’s new identity includes a modified logo, new typeface and softer palette. Simplicity and cohesion, rather than elaborate design, is a key theme signifying the company’s core values of integrity and the highest ethical standards.
The signature colours for the brand, although remaining green and blue, are now teamed with light grey which adds impact and strength. The new look has been launched across multiple communication channels including information brochures, advertising, website and all supporting policy documents.
Tina said: “Our new identity, while remaining true to its heritage, is wonderfully modern. It brings us bang up to date and gives a clear message that, backed with over 16 years experience, we offer services which remain customer-focused and in step with changing needs.
"Our mission at Forest has always been to deliver best value in care services and to continuously challenge the status quo. We aim to empower our customers through offering informed choice and flexible solutions.
“The website, with its clean, contemporary design and straightforward navigation has been designed to compliment the changing habits of our customers. With all of us increasingly turning to the web for detailed information, we consider our website a vital communication channel.”
The Forest Group - Forest Homecare, Forest Community Support, Forest Reablement and Forest Home - now provides a full range of care and support across the eastern region, including practical, personal, specialist and residential care.
This involves working with people of all ages - those with age-related challenges, long-term illness, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and those needing palliative care.
Tina Goodacre said: “We are still the same company with the same customer values. We have a commitment to quality that extends throughout the business. The Forest Homecare name is a source of pride to us and should inspire trust in all with whom we come in contact.”
