Have Your Say in the Future of Haverhill...
Monday, 12th March 2007.
Local groups, individuals and business people have been invited to help shape the future of Haverhill at a special planning workshop designed to generate ideas for development to the North West of the town.
Planning officers from St Edmundsbury will host two sessions at the Samuel Ward Upper School in Haverhill on Saturday 24 March to invite views on a parcel of land allocated in the local plan for up to 750 new homes and other facilities. It is hoped up to 100 people will be able to take part and their opinions will be fed into the planning process as plans are drawn up for the area.
A masterplan giving more detail of how the development will take shape will then be created and further consultation will be carried out.
Sessions will be held in the morning and afternoon. Anyone who would like to take part should contact Kate Johnson on 01284 757694 or by emailing:
