Happy play days ahead
By Jo Deeks on Monday, 26th June 2000.
YOUNGSTERS at the Happy Faces Pre-School group in Haverhill have a colourful mural to look at and a new garden to play in - thanks to staff from insurance company AXA.
The playgroup, which caters for children with and without special needs, had a visit from a group of volunteers.
Elahie Hatfield, leader at Happy Faces, said they were absolutely delighted with the work which had been done.
The volunteers were among 50 staff from AXA in Haverhill who had given a day's paid leave to take up challenges to do community work around the town.
