Gunman in robbery bid at convenience store
Friday, 9th May 2014.
Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted armed robbery at a store this morning.
The incident occurred at around 7.35am at the convenience store on the corner of Primrose Hill and Burton End.
Two men wearing masks entered the shop and one was brandishing a gun, described as a pistol. They attempted to steal alcohol from a fridge but left empty-handed.
The men are both described as white and aged between 18 and 20. The first man was around 6ft 1in tall, wearing a red hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms, with a handkerchief over his face.
The second man is described as around 5ft 5in tall wearing a black jacket and a black balaclava.
