Golf course playing in fine form

The men’s medal was played at Haverhill Golf Club on Sunday and there were some amazing results considering the time of year, which is testament to the condition of the golf course.
Russell Gritty won on countback with a nett 62 from Francis Gooch and Eamonn Bareham, winner of division one, had the lowest gross score of 73.
The full results were as follows: Division One, 1 Eamonn Bareham 73-6-67; 2n Garry Baird 80-11-69; 3 Gordon Price 79-10-69.
Division Two, 1 Russell Gritty 78-16-62; 2 Mark Barrett 79-16-63; 3 James Bowser 84-19-65.
Division Three, 1 Francis Gooch 89-27-62; 2 Lewis Whiting 89-23-66; 3 Ellis Woko 94-24-70.
