Frighteners take over in the park
Tuesday, 2nd November 2010.
Thousands of people flocked to East Town Park in Haverhill on Friday evening for the traditional free Halloween Trail laid on by Haverhill Town Council.
The usual spooky manifestations were in evidence, from skeletons hanging in the trees to strange spider-like creatures which jumped out on people from the dark.
The trail led around the park and used both the Stour Brook and the former railway track as backdrops to suitable spooky effects.
The climax at the end was a fire show from Flame Oz, which saw dancers whirling and spinning flaming torches and burning hoops around themselves.
