Follow a PCSO's day on Twitter
Wednesday, 18th December 2013.
If you want to know what police do all day you can follow a Haverhill PCSO on Twitter on Friday.
PCSO Mark Isaacs will be tweeting throughout his shift.
Once he’s been briefed he goes out on foot patrol through the Chalkstone and make his way to Samuel Ward Academy where he liaises with the front office personnel to see if there are any requests or tasks that need to be completed.
He then makes contact with the on duty inclusion officers so they are aware he is on duty in School.
This also gives them a chance to let him know if there are any issues or concerns with any pupils.
His other involvements in school also include: giving awareness in assemblies to pupils about incidents or issues involving young people in Haverhill, educational inputs to classes on topics they are studying like the law and even drop-in centres for the students to come and talk with him confidentially about any concerns.
