First of the summer pop concerts on the market square
Friday, 2nd August 2013.
There is a free pop concert in the market square tomorrow night, starting at 8pm.
Live on stage The Mersey Makers will provide the best of the sounds of Liverpool including music from The Beatles, The Searchers, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Merseybeats, and more.
The Mersey Makers will be joined on stage by tributes to Tom Jones and Michael Buble.
It's the first in the annual music on the market square events provided by Haverhill Town Council in August.
Another free pop concert will take place on Saturday, August 17, at 8pm featuring tributes to Take That (Fake That) One Direction (Only 1 Direction) and Girls Aloud (Girls Alouder).
The council's arts and leisure manager Nick Keeble says: "We’ve been running these free concerts for some years now and they always go down a storm. Bring your whole family, Granny and Grandad included, and soak up the special Haverhill community atmosphere."
