THIRSTY drinkers found plenty to tempt them at Haverhill Rugby Club at the weekend when a second annual beer festival was held.
The event was combined with a membership drive and many residents of new homes surrounding the club went along to join up as social members. Club secretary Ian Stewart said the three-day festival was such a success that next year's was already being planned.
He said “It is only a small affair, we only had 12 different beers, but everyone who tried them seemed to enjoy them very much.”
