Enterprise 2000 group strengthens link

HAVERHILL'S Enterprise 2000 group is to continue in the new century and has strengthened its links with the town's Partnership Group.
Enterprise 2000 members Terry McGerty and Keith Brown attended last week's meeting.
Mr McGerty said the group was asked to carry on with a number of new members from the business community and a new chairman.
One of the group's main roles would be to attract more jobs to Haverhill and help people moving to the town realise they could find work without traveling to Cambridge.
Mr Brown opened a recruitment agency in Haverhill and already found a considerable range of skills in the town.
Roger Hetherington of Business Link Suffolk said he had been working with Enterprise 2000 and was organising a "Meet the Buyers" session where the town's businesses could present themselves to buyers from major purchasing organisations.
