Engineers working to clear storm damage
Tuesday, 24th December 2013.
Suffolk highways engineers are responding to over 100 storm-related reports which have come into The Hub at Suffolk Highways offices this morning.
These incidents have been reported and have therefore been allocated a team to clear as soon as possible, and they include trees down on roads at Wickhambrook, Clare and Stoke-by-Clare.
Suffolk highways are urging all to be alert and take extra care while driving and to heed any warnings and diversions that are issued by the authorities.
They say they are working to clear the roads as quickly and safely as possible, and are prioritising the main routes which have been obstructed.
If you need to report a problem or obstruction that appears on the roads or footways please call Suffolk Highways on: 08456 066 171
