Tuesday, 15th May 2012.
Haverhill is to get another visit from a Government minister this week.
The Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP, the Employment Minister, is to visit the town on Thursday to discuss efforts to raise employment and reduce unemployment in Haverhill.
He will visit Haverhill JobcentrePlus and then meet local employers to talk about improving employment prospects in Haverhill.
Speaking ahead of the visit, the town's MP Matthew Hancock said: “It is fantastic that Chris Grayling is to come to Haverhill to see what makes the town tick.
"The staff in the Jobcentre are on the front line when it comes to getting our young people back into work.
“I know that the Employment Minister is also keen to hear from local employers in Haverhill. They are the ones who will generate the jobs that are so vital to getting the economy back on its feet and so it is important we listen to them.”
