Easter fun for children on offer at leisure centre

A host of sports activities for youngsters will be on offer at the popular holiday camps at Haverhill Leisure Centre this Easter holiday.
Children can take part in the camps for a morning or afternoon, a whole day or even the whole week.
For children aged six and over the popular School’s Out Holiday Camps will offer a wide variety of sports delivered by qualified coaches including athletics, swimming, team sports, football, basketball, racket sports, squash tennis and laser blast. There will also be film afternoons and arts and crafts.
Amelia Epton, Abbeycroft’s sports development and physical activity officer, said: “We have lots going on to keep children of all ages entertained this Easter holiday. Our popular holiday camps are going from strength to strength, keeping kids active and parents happy.”
Holiday camps cost £5 for a morning or afternoon session. For the whole day (9am to 5pm for eight-plus and 9am to 3pm for six-to-seven-year-olds) it costs £9.99 per child and £48 for the five-day week (April 7-14) and £39 for the four-day week (April 14-17).
Parents can add on an early drop off at 8.30am and a late pick up at 5.30pm at an additional cost.
