Wednesday, 13th November 2013.
Police are releasing an E-Fit image of a man they would like to trace following an assault in Haverhill more than a month ago.
The incident occurred at around 9.20pm on Tuesday, October 1, when the victim, a woman in her forties, was walking along an alleyway from Hazel Close to Castle Lane.
When she was about six metres from reaching the road at Castle Lane, she was pushed to the floor from behind and then kicked in the stomach.
After she hit out at her attacker in self-defence, he then ran away in the direction of Hazel Close.
The attacker is described as a white man, aged between 25 and 30, around 5ft 10in tall, of a thin build and wearing a black zip-up hooded top.
Anyone who believes they recognise this man or who has any information about this incident is asked to contact PC Georgie Parrott at Haverhill Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
