Deadline reminder for ONE Haverhill grant applications
Friday, 31st January 2014.
Haverhill community groups and organisations are reminded to submit applications for up to £5,000 in grant funding for projects that will be of benefit to Haverhill as the deadline approaches.
Groups and organisations can apply for up to £5,000 from a special grant pot, made available to ONE Haverhill by St Edmundsbury Borough Council. The deadline for application is Monday March 3 at 10am.
Applications will be considered by ONE Haverhill from groups which meet a minimum of three key criteria.
They must also demonstrate that the funding will make a real difference to the people of Haverhill, have clear objectives and plans for the project and how they will measure its effectiveness.
Application forms and criteria can be downloaded from the ONE Haverhill website at www.onehaverhill.co.uk/community-grants. Previous applicants can apply.
Sarah Howard, chair of ONE Haverhill Board, said: "We are urging community groups not to miss out on a chance to receive this funding. February is a short month and will fly by but there is still time to make an application.
"It is straightforward and help is available. Having been involved in community groups that rely on funding I know how a small grant could make a big difference to a local project.”
ONE Haverhill is an independent board that is bringing organisations and resources together to make them more effective and efficient in the town – providing one voice for Haverhill.
Completed application forms should be sent to ONE Haverhill Grants Scheme, Haverhill Arts Centre, High Street, Haverhill, CB9 8AR.
If you would like to discuss your application before you submit it or need any help with your submission please telephone Nick Keeble on 01440 712858.
