Daytime burglar takes £2,000 jewellery, medication and washing liquid

Police are appealing for witnesses and warning residents to keep their doors locked after a daytime burglary in Haverhill.
The crime took place between 9am and 11.30am on Friday, October 3, at a house in York Road.
The thief got in via an insecure patio door and a number of items of jewellery were stolen, along with £50 in cash and some medication.
Among the jewellery taken was a nine carat gold necklace with the lettering 'KATIE', worth £200; a nine carat gold snake-link necklace, worth £300; a silver necklace with a large round mother-of-pearl pendant; a rose gold necklace with a half-sovereign pendant, worth £140; and a silver Tiffany bracelet with a silver Tiffany heart pendant, worth £500.
In all the jewellery was valued at £2,000.Also taken were eight different types of medication, and an 888ml bottle of Bold washing liquid.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has any information about this burglary, is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101 quoting reference HH/14/1956, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
