SOME smooth Latin moves were on display at Haverhill Arts Centre on Saturday at a Dance Carousel event.

The day-long workshop was completely sold out, with around 25 people taking part in the morning session and the same number in the afternoon.

Tutor Myra Carley, led the morning session, covering the salsa and merengue dances, then in the afternoon Lorraine Theobald led an exploration of Egyptian dance.

Dance sessions at the Arts Centre have proved popular in the past and after the success of the latest ones, more are likely to take place next year. For details of he programme at the Arts Centre, ring the box office in (01440) 714140.
