Councillors' surgery offers a break from Olympics

Two senior local councillors are holding a surgery in the town on Saturday for residents to bring asny issues of concern to their attention.
Cllr Karen Richardson (St Edmundsbury Borough Council) and Cllr Anne Gower (Suffolk County Council) will be holding their surgery at Haverhill Library on Saturday, August 4 from 10-12 noon.
Cllr Gower said: "If you fancy a break from the weather or the Olympics and want to come down and talk to us about a local issue or problem you have, please do drop in.
"For those of you who are on holiday or just enjoying the summer please do give either of us a ring if you can't make it down to the library."
