Council's bin collection times for the holiday period
Tuesday, 21st December 2010.
Bins will still be emptied as usual over the holiday period by St Edmundsbury Borough Council binmen.
The council will be operating almost as usual over the Christmas period.
Bin collections will take place as usual from Monday to Friday, December 20-24, and from Monday to Friday, December 27-31.
For the first week of the New Year only, week commencing Monday, January 3, collections will be one day later. Enquiries should be made to 01284 757320, or you can find out more online at

The two main council offices at West Suffolk House, Bury St Edmunds and Lower Downs Slade, Haverhill, will close an hour earlier on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve and all day on the three bank holidays.
Opening times for the Haverhill office are as follows:
Christmas Eve 9am to 4pm
Monday December 27 CLOSED
Tuesday December 28 CLOSED
Wednesday December 29 9am to 5pm
Thursday December 30 9am to 5pm
Friday December 31 9am to 4pm
Monday January 3 CLOSED
Tuesday January 4 back to normal 9am to 5pm.
