Collision between car and pedestrian being investigated
Tuesday, 15th March 2011.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a road accident in Haverhill on Friday.
The collision happened shortly after 10am when a
blue Vauxhall Astra was in collision with a pedestrian in Lordscroft Lane.
The man, who lives in the town and who is in his 60s, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital by ambulance and later discharged after receiving treatment. The driver of the Astra was uninjured.
A section of the road was closed for about four hours while emergency services dealt with the incident scene.
