Clarice aims for national singing talent finals

A local girl will be competing in the Open Mic Regional finals on Sunday, aiming for a place in the final of the national talent competition.
Clarice Parrott, 15, will be singing in the area finals in Bedford on Sunday for a place in the national final.
Clarice, from Sturmer sings and is accompanied by Luke Vosper from Little Yeldham, also 15, who plays piano and guitar.
In addition to her singing talents Clarice is also a talented athlete, as she is one of the top junior long jumpers in the country, coming fifth in the England Athletics under 17s championships in Birmingham earlier this year.
Clarice and Luke have already competed in two rounds to get this far and have loved the performing.
Clarice said: “it has been really exciting to perform in venues in front of such large crowds."
Another local girl, Jade Donno, got through to the finals in the O2 last year.
