Chill out at leisure centre during half-term
Friday, 5th February 2010.
A new free ‘Teen Chill’ activity for stressed-out teenagers studying for exams in June will be launched this half-term at Haverhill Leisure Centre.
Teen Chill takes place on Tuesday, February 16, from 7pm to 9pm in Kids City and is free of charge.
Michelle Curran, sports development officer, said: “The idea behind Teen Chill is to provide a safe fun environment for teenagers, where they can hang out together and take part in games on a wii games console, darts or table tennis.”
Teen Chill is just one of the activities taking place this half-term. Activities include pancake races, handball, football, tots football, racket sports, water polo, athletics and a chance to get up close and personal with some reptiles.
