Chatty Man sells out at arts centre in 90 minutes
Thursday, 16th January 2014.
Alan Carr’s forthcoming gig at Haverhill Arts Centre has sold out in a record-breaking 90 minutes.
The star of Channel 4's Alan Carr Chatty Man will be performing here on Wednesday, February 19, as a warm-up for his forthcoming tour. The show was put on sale at midday and had sold out by 1.30pm.
"The tickets flew," said Pam Jones, who works in the box office. "Online bookers and phone bookers came in a tidal wave and before we had time to draw breath it was a sell-out."
"We knew that the show would be popular," said arts and leisure manager Nick Keeble, "but we didn’t realise the extent of the love Haverhill has for Alan!"
Sara Marsh, marketing manager, said: "We announced the gig via Facebook. If you haven’t already, please 'like' our page. It’s the best way to find out about last-minute updates to our programme."
