Chance for job-seekers to boost their CV

In the run-up to Christmas, West Suffolk College LEAP Centre in Haverhill is offering anyone currently on job seekers allowance the chance to boost their CV.
“We can help to revise and produce a professional CV,” said centre manager Barbara Adshead. “We also offer a programme of learning to boost employability skills.”
Local employers say that they are looking for job seekers whose CV contains up-to-date English, maths and IT skills, all of which can be offered free of charge for job seekers.
Anyone who wants help with improving their employment skills can call into the LEAP Centre in Haverhill High Street or call 01440 712177.
The team of staff in the centre can advise on a wide range of courses. Help is available to everyone, regardless of their existing skills.
