Haverhill cocktail and wine bar Bar Vu has teamed up with Haverhill Cineworld to offer half price cosmopolitans to anyone who purchases tickets to see Sex And The City 2 at the Haverhill cinema, on production of their cinema ticket.

To celebrate the release of Sex And The City 2 at Cineworld, Bar Vu is hosting a Cocktails And Heels Evening on Thursday, June 10.

You can put on your Manolo Blahniks and dance to 90s and R 'n' B music. There will be half price cosmopolitans all night and a special selection of New York-inspired cocktails. The event is 7pm to midnight and entry is free.

The bar will be decorated New York-style, plus the regular ladies night offer of two cocktails for £6 will also be available. There will be prizes throughout the night for the best dressed, including a free meal at Bar Vu’s new bistro and other Sex And The City 2 branded goodies.

Bar manager Leroy Rawlins said: “Thursday is ladies night at Bar Vu so what better way to celebrate those most famous Manhatten cocktail-drinking ladies? It’s the perfect opportunity to go and see the film and then come along to Bar Vu and reminisce.

“This is a free fun event to bring a slice of New York to Haverhill and celebrate the film.”

Dominika Pawlowska, operations manager at Cineworld Haverhill, said: “We are pleased to join up with Bar Vu, Haverhill’s cocktail and wine bar, to allow film fans to celebrate with a half price cosmo after their film.”
