Car left running in the snow is stolen

The dangers of leaving your car engine running once you have got out of it were highlighted by a woman who had her car stolen during snowy conditions in the early hours of Monday morning.
The incident happened in Camps Road, Haverhill between 1.40am and 1.45am, when a blue Peugeot 206, registration Y688VBP, was stolen from the street where it had been left running temporarily.
Police said that as the female driver returned to the car she spoke to a teenage boy who got into the car and drove off.
He is described as white, between 16 and 18 years old and spoke with an English accent.
