Burglary and vehicle theft toll mounts

Haverhill's burglary toll continued last week, with two incidents where cars were part of the haul.
On Thursday night thieves got into an unlocked garage in Roman Way and stole a safe, alcohol and a red Renault Clio which was later found burnt out on Chalkstone Way.
Between midnight and 10.50am on Wednesday in Dunsey Wood Close thieves got into a house through an unlocked door and stole the keys to a blue Vauxhall Corsa which was also stolen and later found abandoned in Park Road.
In Pipers Close between 5pm on Tuesday and 8am on Wednesday thieves got into a white Toyato Hilux van and stole tools.
Information on the Roman Way incident should be given to PC Guy Ainsworth, the Dinsey Wood Close oone to DC Jacqueline Mumford, and the Pipers Close one to Sgt Sarah Bartley, all on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
