Mark Brandt ... sent off for retaliation
Haverhill were in fourth place going into the local derby at March, who have yet to win this season and have conceded 102 goals, but both teams picked up a point as neither side was able to dominate.
March boss Jan Czarnecki said: "Both teams cancelled each other out and there were not many chances created."
March’s best chance fell to James Horner, who headed just pass the post and Czarnecki praised his players, particularly new midfielder Ian McIntosh with the boss saying: “He had a great game for us.”
Rover’s leading scorer Brandt was sent off for retaliation on 60 minutes and their best chance in the game fell to Adrian Hunt, but his effort was tipped over by the bary by the keeper.
Rovers had a number of penalty appeals turned down and hit the side netting on a couple of occasions, but were left frustrated at not being able to turn over a side they ought to have beaten easily.
