Boys arrested after trail of damage
Tuesday, 13th April 2010.
Two boys have been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage after trail of incidents in the early hours of Wedenesday last week.
A window and a gate were damaged at the China Inn restaurant in Station Road, piping ripped off the side of the health clinic behind the Rose and Crown and a string of vehicles in Crowland Road, Downs Place, Downs Crescent and Vange Place were damaged.
Ten vehicles were damaged, seven of them in Crowland Road, mostly by breaking wing mirrors, but some by scratching.
Much of the damage, to the window and to the wing mirrors was done using wheelie bins.
The boys, both 16 and from Haverhill, were arrested later that day and have been bailed to re-appear at Bury St Edmunds police station on May 19
