Boy cyclist grabbed by 60-year-old man
Monday, 6th June 2011.
Police are appealing for information after a 12-year-old boy was grabbed by a man of around 60 as he cycled near the sports ground in Ehringshausen Way, Haverhill between 11am and 11.30am on Friday.
He was riding his bike on the pavement as he approached the man and a woman. He rode onto the grass to avoid them, but the man grabbed him and shouted at him.
The boy called his mother and the man was also abusive to her. The man threw the boy’s phone down, the boy picked it up and left.
The man is described as white, around 60 years old and was wearing a cream hat, shorts, shoes with white straps, long white socks and glasses.
The woman is described as in her 20s, of large build and was wearing a black top.
