Beat the winter blues at the library

Haverhill Library is helping to cheer people up during a long cold winter with a Beat The Winter Blues week this week.
Today features Haverhill Volunteer Centre from 9.30am-1pm, when Elaine Hewes will be on hand to help people identify volunteering opportunities in the Haverhill area.
Tomorrow Haverhill Heath Trainer Hatty Maisey will be at the library from 9.30am-1pm to advise you on fitness and food to boost wellbeing.
Wednesday sees Jane Ackroyd from Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPTS) and Top time coffee morning with quiz 10.30am-12noon.
On Thursday from 9.30am-1pm, staff from the Haverhill LEAP (Learning and Enterprise Access Point) centre will be present to give advice and guidance on developing skills through a variety of courses.
Finally on Friday, from 1pm-2.30pm, staff from mental health service MIND (will be on hand with information about services in the local area.
