Attack victim claims it was Eastern Europeans

A man attacked by five men in Strasbourg Square in the early hours of Saturday morning believes they were Eastern Europeans.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the attack which occurred at 1.30am near the entrance to the underpass.
The 21-year-old victim was walking across the square and as he approached the underpass, he saw a group of five men by the entrance who began walking towards him.
As he walked past the group, he was hit on the back of the head and then punched and kicked to the ground, at which point has attackers left.
He has told police believes he heard the men talking in an Eastern European language.
