Arsonist using lit fireworks

Police are investigating three incidents this week in Haverhill where lit fireworks have been put in wheelie bins and a phone box.
In Girton Road at around 12.55am on Saturday a lit firework was placed inside a bin in a park, destroying the bin and scattering its contents.
In Chaplains Close between 10.40pm and 10.55pm on Tuesday a lit firework was placed inside a bin in the street, destroying the bin.
Then in Chalkstone Way between within half an hour later a lit firework has been placed inside a phone box, damaging a window in the kiosk.
Police are linking these last two incidents and calls in relation to them should be made to Sgt Gary Miller at Haverhill Police on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
