Appeal for witnesses after teenager is assaulted

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a teenager was attacked by a man yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened in Greenfields Way, Haverhill, between 4.30pm and 5pm, when a 17-year-old youth was assaulted while walking with friends.
Two men approached and one pushed him into a bush and assaulted him. He suffered facial and arm injuries.
The man is described as having a tanned complexion and wavy hair. The teenager ran to the nearby garage where a man driving a white Vauxhall Astra van with a blue logo on the side offered him assistance.
Police want to speak to this man as he may hold important information about this incident.
