All seven Suffolk MPs agree: Britain should remain in a reformed European Union
Monday, 23rd May 2016.
Matthew Hancock, MP for West Suffolk along his six fellow Suffolk MPs, Peter Aldous, Therese Coffey, Ben Gummer, Jo Churchill, James Cartlidge and Daniel Poulter are united in their support for the Remain campaign. Suffolk is the only county in the Anglia region where all seven of the Conservative MPs are campaigning to stay in the European Union.
Commenting, Matthew said:
“We will campaign to remain in a reformed European Union and we will urge others to do the same. The case for jobs, prosperity and economic security by remaining within the EU is compelling, we are coming from a position of strength by being able to trade freely in a single market. The risks of leaving the EU far outweigh the known advantages we have enjoyed for the past several decades. Suffolk will continue to benefit if we remain within the EU.”
