Agent wins John Lewis vouchers on research park's new website
Tuesday, 21st January 2014.
Harry Rands of commercial property agents Bidwells beat off competition from local and national commercial agents to win £200 of John Lewis vouchers for answering questions about the brand new Haverhill Research Park correctly on its website, and then coming first in the prize draw.
Mr Rands was presented with his prize at the park yesterday by Helen Chaplin from the Haverhill Research Park marketing team and Tom Owen of commercial agents Cheffins who are joint agents on the project with Carter Jonas.
The competition was launched to draw commercial agents’ attention to the new website www.haverhillresearchpark.com as Carisbrooke Developments the developer of the park prepares to ramp up marketing on the site this year.
The website has a number of new features including an interactive masterplan showing details of each plot, up-to-date images of the rapidly maturing landscaping, information about local amenities, demographics, companies and a video fly-through of the project.
It also gives details of the business rate relief of up to £275,000 over five years for the first company to move into a beskpoke property on the park.
Mr Rands said: “I congratulate Carisbrooke on the new website that is very easy to navigate and has lots of useful information which will be useful in incentivising potential occupiers to come to see the park.”
Mr Owen said: “As the marketing drive gets into full swing the website will be a very useful tool in explaining the benefits of the park, the excellent labour pool and residential areas with cost effective prices yet close to the Cambridge technology hub.”
