£4,000 worth of power tools stolen from van

Thieves got away with over £4,000 worth of power tools from a transit van parked in Cambridge Way over night from Friday to Saturday, October 17 to 18.
The tols included a Makita digital radio set, de Waldt and Makita cordless drills, de Waldt and Makita circular saws, a Metabo jig-saw, a Paslode nail gun and first-fit nail gun, a de Waldt chopsaw and a de Waldt power router.
Police are appealing for anyone who heard or saw anything in the area that night, or for information fromanyone offered the tools for sale on 101 and quoting crime number HH/14/2037.
* A 50cc Yamaha motor-cycle was stolen from Keebles Court overnight on Wednesday to Thursday, October 15 to 16, registration NBX 996R.
* A strimmer and a hedge-trimmer were stolen from a motor vehicle parked in Old Haverhill Road, Little Wratting overnight on Tuesday to Wednesday, October 14 to 15.
